There is no national holiday October 2025, record the last two red dates this year

However, it should be noted that in October 2025 there was no national holiday or joint leave set by the government.

This is in accordance with Joint Decree (SKB) 3 Ministers regarding National Holidays and Joint Leave of 2025. Thus, the October 2025 calendar runs normally without a red date.

Although October without a holiday, people can still look forward to the last two red dates this year. Both fell in December 2025 to commemorate Christmas.

– Friday, December 26, 2025: Natal Leave

After that, there is no longer a long holiday before the turn of the year.

Referring to the Circular of the Minister of Manpower Number M/6/HK.04/XII/2024, there are special rules regarding the implementation of joint leave. Workers who choose holidays on the day of joint leave, the right to leave will reduce the annual leave.

Conversely, if workers continue to work on joint leave, then the annual leave is not reduced and the wages remain paid as usual.

With this rule, companies and employees have certainty in regulating leave rights and payment of wages on joint leave day.

Unlike private workers, joint leave rules for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN/PNS) have their own provisions.

Based on the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2025, ASN’s joint leave will not cut the annual leave.

In fact, for ASN who because of his position did not get a joint leave, the government provided compensation in the form of additional leave according to the amount of joint leave that was not enjoyed.

October 2025 does not have a national holiday, so work and learning activities continue to run normally.

However, people can still look forward to the end of the year holidays on December 25-26, 2025 as a moment of Christmas celebration.
